How Dunlow and Rathlow keep their distance, in writing, before anyone has to ask.
Rathlow was not designed in a boardroom. It is proven on our own filings first. Dunlow, the practice we own, runs our group's VAT, corporation tax and CRO compliance on Rathlow, and design-partner practices run their real workload on it before anything ships to the wider market. Every workflow in Rathlow exists because a real filing needed it.
We know what that raises for the firms we serve: does the software company compete with its own customers? These three commitments are our answer.
We will never sell software, bookkeeping or compliance services directly to businesses or end clients. Accountants and bookkeeping firms are our only channel and our only customer.
Dunlow receives no leads, referrals, client lists, benchmarking or intelligence of any kind derived from the Rathlow platform. Dunlow uses Rathlow on the same terms as any other firm, and platform data is segregated from practice operations.
Dunlow serves our own group's companies. It does not take clients from the market Rathlow serves, and we will not use the platform to grow the practice into our customers' markets.
The relationship between Dunlow and Rathlow is public: shared ownership is visible on the CRO register and we will never obscure it. This charter is published, versioned, and referenced in our customer agreements. It is formally reviewed at each stage of Rathlow's growth, and if Dunlow ever outgrows the boundaries above, we tighten the boundaries or exit the practice. We would rather lose a practice than the trust of the profession we build for.
Fifteen minutes, no slideware. We walk your filing through the platform live, on sample data or your own.
